Interesting quote by Ray Blanchard - "A paraphilia is a sexual orientation that we don't like."
The sexual revolution has a lot of hypocrisy and inconsistency in it. The reality is that something like crossdressing for sexual pleasure is not so different from other paraphilias, but crossdressing now gets a pass, and other paraphilias are still deviant. It's all subjective.
Also interesting to reflect on "sexual orientation". It's a made up idea by psychologists to describe human behavior and desire. By labeling things for so long as sexual orientations, we make them out to be so fixed and unchangeable, and as fixtures of our identity. It can be helpful to make sense of ourselves and to label the types of attractions we have and seek out others to talk to who have the same ones, but we can also put too much weight on the label.
Thoughts?

Anyone else feel pretty much no desire for actual crossdressing, but still have desire for crossdressing fiction? It is an extremely rare day at this point in my life that crossdressing has any appeal, it just seems like it will be really stupid and that I would look really stupid anyway. I certainly wasn't like that many years ago. Maybe it's just too hard for me to deceive myself in actual CD now. I see it for what it is. But the temptations for fantasy still come sometimes. In fantasy, you read a story about a male actually looking like a beautiful woman, something which would never be the case in real life. For me, the best thing I found to fight against fantasy is having an internet filter. That took away the problem almost completely besides the occasional dream about crossdressing or the occasional time of needing to resist thinking on a fantasy as I drift off to sleep. What do you do to fight the fantasizing?

How does anyone else deal with songs that play though our perverse world?
I don't listen to any music other than Scripture songs or Christian hymms but my work plays garbage all day long and it seems like sex is the focus on every song and some songs are triggers like "girls just want to have fun" Most of the triggers I don't actually know the name of but it seems like its everywhere.
Movies, tv and books have the garbage too. Some childhood books I remember having it was "the Wizard of Oz" but I also remember so called "christian" books with cross dressing in it. Some of Mark Twain's books had cross dressing too... I'm an avid reader but it seems like sex and perversion is through it everywhere or at the very least, innuendos...
