I find this to be a very persuasive article from theblaze.com - "Liberal science: A pregnant woman is a man but the human in her womb isn't a person."
https://www.theblaze.com/contributions/m...t-a-person
What do you think? It seems to me that both liberals and conservatives, republicans and democrats, have a tendency to ignore science at times in order to bolster their own positions. But in the case of transgender ideology and the mainstream political correctness culture around transgender issues, it seems to be totally anti science and anti common sense, a completely blatant and ridiculous denial of reality.

I just ran across a transman on Instagram who had a baby. I understand that he was suffering from dysphoria and so made the switch. In his case he met a man just before his official transition who was accepting and they loved each other. OK, I find that pretty weird I must admit, but they got married. He said he had figured he would never be able to have children, never have a family, never find love, all those things that all of us want. Then (not sure the details as I didn't get the full story) after getting married they wanted to have children together, and all of a sudden they figured out that they could have biological children (since the transman had not had bottom surgery), their OWN children. So I get that, too. But it's weird. But they have normal feelings. Those feelings of wanting love, of wanting a family, of wanting children, are all normal. So while getting pregnant was weird (for him too), the end result was what we all want. But they look like a gay, two dad family, so are not accepted by some people. Sometimes things are more complicated than a simplistic thought would lead one to believe. The reality in the case of the transman I saw on Instagram is not that he is a woman masquerading as a man, that is totally a misunderstanding of what being transgender is all about.
I sometimes think about transwomen not being real women because they can't give birth, but I guess it's more that they are not complete women. I don't know what it feels like, as I have never felt I was born in the wrong body. But there are people who have felt like that all their lives, and that is their reality.
I'm afraid I have to take any article on the Blaze with a grain of salt. This fellow has no understanding of transgender people. Scripture exhorts us to extend hospitality to the "other," the "stranger," the "alien" in Romans 12:13 ("practice hospitality" NIV, "extend hospitality to strangers" NRSV); and to love them: ". . . the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. 18 He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. 19 Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt." (Deuteronomy 10:17-19, NKJV) Transgender people are certainly the stranger to most of us . . . The author of the Blaze article seems self-righteous and arrogant. I was almost afraid of transgender people, but now that I have met and talked with several I can see they are people just like the rest of us, and deserve respect, not ridicule.
I am anti-abortion, and believe life starts at conception, but that is an entirely different subject, so tying the two together only makes the author's political stance more evident.

Theblaze certainly is a fiery site and very politically one sided. However, I think it would be a mistake to equate their tone with how they might talk in person to a real person with dysphoria, or real transsexual. I am just as strong and blunt as they are when talking about scientific reality, that men are men, women are women, there is a binary, you cannot change your sex, etc. But when I'm face to face with a transsexual, my goal is to care, comfort, listen, maybe challenge, but mainly to point them to Christ. Everyone can see how I would so with transsexuals who commented on my site. I think we have to distinguish the two things.
I don't think the authors of that website would necessarily be hateful or afraid of transgendered people. They are against the mainstream ideologies that are being written about everywhere (and enforced in many places which results in men being in women's locker rooms, or people being fired from positions for not agreeing to the ideology), and it is very right for them to react passionately to such blatantly false ideologies.
I don't feel like the authors of these types of articles, and there may be many of them, are so much trying to criticize couples like these for wanting to have kids, as you say, it is a natural feeling. It is more that they are against the media who loves to say, "a man having a baby for the first time!" And other convoluted headlines that don't make sense. And the media celebrating people like this as heroes.
I applaud and love your heart of compassion, and helping people to look at the issues from the point of views of the people suffering from these feelings.
Thanks for the comment Kyork
